Harvest garden ingredients and cook a Dalmatian 4-course meal with homemade wine on a small-group class near Dubrovnik.

“I have taken many cooking classes across Italy and Greece. This was my least favorite. This 4 hour experience was mostly waking around their home garden, hearing about their family history and sitting at the table chatting with other guests. Very little cooking took place other than 5 min of chopping a couple vegetables, putting 2 pieces of pork on a skewer and 5 min of assembling some quick bread. Very little technique or cooking instructions. In fact, no recipes were even given upon leaving. I had to e-mail for them after we left and was given only half the foods we actually made and some didn't have measurements. Not…”

“What a wonderful experience! My friend and I spent the day with our fantastic guide in Split. He was a local and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights into the city’s history and the Croatian people. As we explored the city, we made several stops at shops to indulge in sweets, pastries, and local honey. The second part of the tour was a culinary experience at a lovely 5-star hotel kitchen, where we worked with a very handsome head chef. We cooked and enjoyed a delicious lunch that we had helped prepare. This well-paced experience was filled with history, tasty local cuisine, and a wonderful guide who exuded passion and pride for…”
